Attendance
How to review your clock records and submit correction requests in the employee app
The Attendance page is where you can review your full clock-in history and request corrections if a record is wrong. Managers review and approve corrections before any changes take effect.
Viewing Your Clock Records
- Tap Attendance in the bottom navigation.
- Open the Clock Records tab.
- Use the week navigation to browse records by week.
Each record shows:
| Detail | What it means |
|---|---|
| Date | The day the record belongs to |
| Record type | Clock-in, Clock-out, Break Start, or Break End |
| Recorded time | The exact time that was saved |
| Status | OK or Flagged |
Flagged Records
A record is flagged when it was marked as late, edited by a manager, or is pending approval. Flagged records are highlighted so they are easy to spot.
Submitting a Correction Request
If a clock record is wrong (for example, you forgot to clock out or scanned in at the wrong time), you can request a correction.
- Open the Clock Records tab and find the record that needs fixing.
- Tap the flagged entry or tap Request Correction.
- Select the correction type:
| Type | When to use it |
|---|---|
| Wrong Time | The clock-in or clock-out time was recorded incorrectly |
| Missed Clock-in | You forgot to clock in at the start of your shift |
| Missed Clock-out | You forgot to clock out at the end of your shift |
| Late Check-in | You were late and the record should reflect the actual arrival |
| Accidental | You accidentally clocked in or out |
- Enter the correct time.
- Add a reason explaining what happened (required).
- Tap Submit.
Your correction request is sent to your manager for review.
Tracking Correction Requests
Open the Corrections tab to see all correction requests you have submitted.
Each request shows:
- The original record it relates to
- The correction type and requested time
- Status: Pending, Approved, or Denied
- Your manager's notes (if they left any when reviewing)
Correction requests do not automatically update your records. Your manager must approve them first. If your request is time-sensitive (for example, payroll is being processed soon), let your manager know directly.
